Dena is a wonderful person to work with and a truly valued member of our Ocean Park Elementary team. She wears many hats, helping in the cafeteria, running the library, and taking on countless other duties with a kind and caring attitude. She brings warmth and positivity to both students and staff every day.
Her library is a magical place, full of fun and excitement for our kids, making reading an adventure they can’t wait to embark on. We are so grateful to have Dena as part of our OPE family—she is beyond deserving of this honor!

This amazing opportunity came to us thanks to one of our incredible reading volunteers, whose dedication to our students helped bring this experience to life. 🏆🐛
The class had an unforgettable time learning about and even touching some fascinating bugs. From exploring different classifications to discovering unique facts, the students were curious, brave, and fully engaged throughout the presentation.
