Hello Long Beach Elementary Families,
Just as school was ending, Principal Annie Fletcher was offered a job as a school administrator in Bangkok, Thailand. For those of you who know Annie, you know she is a free spirit and this was an opportunity that she could not pass up. We are sad to see her go, but happy for her.
It is my pleasure to announce that Mr. Jim Paxinos will be the Long Beach principal for the 2023-2024 school year. Jim has many years of experience as a teacher and administrator in elementary and middle schools. Most recently Jim has been serving the district in the role of Human Resources Director. Currently Jim is transitioning from his HR duties to principal duties. Announcements about school supplies and class assignments will be coming in the next few weeks.
