Hilltop Drama’s 2025 Fall Play is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—and we want YOU!

Auditions: Wed Sept 3 & Thu Sept 4

Performances: Nov 14–16 & Nov 21–23, 2025 (9 shows, including one during the school day for Ocean Park Elementary)

Commitment: Rehearsals are typically 2 hours after school several days/week (with occasional Saturday mornings).
Costs: ASB card required; optional show shirt; you may be asked to provide simple costume pieces.

On May 17th please join us at Hilltop Auditorium for a performance of The Frog Prince put on by our Hilltop Drama Class.

Dear Hilltop Families, This morning, the fire alarm was activated at Hilltop Middle School. We want to assure you that there was no fire, and all students and staff are safe. Our safety protocols were followed, and everyone evacuated the building quickly and efficiently. The fire department responded promptly, and our maintenance team quickly assessed the situation. The issue has been resolved, and normal school activities have resumed. We appreciate the swift response from our local fire department and our dedicated maintenance crew. Hello 8th grade families!  This is a reminder that tonight we will have the 8th grade promotion celebration at Ilwaco High School at 6:00 pm.  It was moved to the high school to accommodate the large 8th grade class this year!  All students should arrive no later than 5:30.  Then please join us for a BBQ up the hill at Hilltop Middle School.  See you all this evening. 

Student SPOTLIGHT! Ford’s Oratory Theater Washington, DC From May 3rd to 7th Coral Couling and Azzie Eckhardt went to Washington, DC as part of Ford’s Oratory Theater Fellowship directed by Ms. Jacobsen. Both students wrote speeches using the Rhetorical Triangle, and delivered them using Podium Points they learned from their mentor, Ashley. Azzie spoke about AI and Coral spoke about Women’s Rights. They spoke at both the Lincoln Memorial and the Ford Theater Stage (where John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Lincoln) They also visited many sites such as The Holocaust Museum, The MLK Library, Clara Barton House, and the Capitol, where we had a tour and almost saw President Biden. The students met many other students from South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Missouri, New York, and Oregon. We are proud of our Coral and Azzie for representing Hilltop and lifting student voice in our nation's capital.
