Mrs. Cheri Lloyd
Cheri Lloyd joined Hilltop Middle School in 2015, following a position at Stanislaus County Office of Education in Modesto, California as the Visual and Performing Arts Program Coordinator. Mrs. Lloyd has taught 3rd grade, 6th grade, and K-8th Visual and Digital Arts. She has been in the education field for 19 years.
Mrs. Lloyd grew up in Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in Elementary Education and Art Education. She earned her master’s degree in Educational Technology from Stanislaus State University.
Mrs. Lloyd has a passion for social emotional learning and has been working for the past two years at Hilltop to develop a Positive Behavior Support and Intervention program to help students navigate student responsibilities as well as gaining skills to become productive and successful adults. In the role of Dean of Students, Mrs. Lloyd will be able to work with students, families, and staff more readily. She believes in creating a safe and kind environment for Hilltop students.
During her free time, Mrs. Lloyd serves on the Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors and volunteers for The Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. She also enjoys traveling, reading, painting, and hanging out with family and friends.
