Relevant Skills for Any Occupation

  • Business education courses provide a significant contribution to the college and career preparation of all students. In today's economy, employees are increasingly expected to function as informed and intellegent citizens who possess academic, technical, and workplace skills that are in high demand. Business education courses train students in professional communications, computer applications, financial literacy, free enterprise systems, and global competition.

The student leadership organization associated with business education is FBLA. Students are encouraged to join and participate in FBLA activities and competions.

Courses in the business education program include computer applications, business communications, business math, website design, and marketing. A complete description of business education courses can be found under course offerings.
