Due to continued concerns regarding the maps selected in 2022 in response to the 2020 Census and due to the non-linear numbering of districts that has occurred over time, the following changes are being recommended.

There will be a public hearing on April 24 at 5:30 regarding this issue. Any comments can be given at the meeting or can be sent in writing in advance of the meeting.

The board will plan on an adoption vote on this issue at the May 22 board meeting.

Boundary changes intend to make the current 5th district which encompasses the downtown Ocean Park area more compact.

The map below reflects the proposed changes to the districts and recommends renumbering.
